It was so nice to have my friends Cari, Robin, and Kristi take care of him and me. My doctor, Dr. Kroeger, delivered him, and Dr. Wiley our pediatrician stayed to be there for the delivery, too. It was definitely different being the patient! But so comforting that my friends were there. My parents, Tony's parents, my sister Jamie, my grandparents, and Tony's brother Jeff, and some of our friends, were all there to see Tony carry him into the nursery.
Craig and Lacy, Chris and Kylee, and several other friends all got to see him the next day. We got to come home the following day, Thanksgiving! We definitely had a lot to be thankful for this year!
We've spent the last few weeks watching him grow so fast! He really needs to slow down some. He smiles all the time, and sometimes it's when I am trying to get him to, so I count that as real smiles. :) We have been blessed by having so many friends and family come by to visit him. Many that have brought food, which is fabulous! We just got his pictures taken and will post those as soon as we get them. He has visited both my work and Tony's work, and we even took him to our Sunday School Christmas party. He doesn't get out much since it is at the peak of RSV season, not to mention the crazy flu, and his mom has seen way too many sick babies from that. It really is scary and soooooo easy to catch! So don't be offended if I make you wash your hands a million times or won't let you near him if you have a cold!
We are looking forward to Christmas and seeing all of our families! Some of them will be getting to meet Logan for the first time! I promise to keep this updated at least monthly now. Maybe I can convinve my sweet sister in law to make me cute signs for Logan's monthly pictures :) .
